Foxconn Inaugurates Production Facilities in Vietnam

According to Taiwan's Economic Daily, Taiwan-based Foxconn inaugurated on August 28 its first two plants at the Que Vo Industrial Park in Bac Ninh Province, northern Vietnam. The two plants, with a combined investment of US$160 million, will be dedicated to the production of camera modules, mainboards, and connectors.

 

Furthermore, Foxconn confirmed the plan to increase its total investment in Vietnam to US$5 billion. According to the same report, Foxconn is expected to invest in new facilities in locations such as Bac Giang Province, Binh Dinh Province, and Cu Chi District.
